John Rempel

John Rempel has a unique ability to connect and assist small business owners. He can help with financial analysis, capital planning, operations, and human resource issues. His past experience in owning several businesses gives him hands-on experience to pass along to others.

John has a background in financial services including financial planning, life and disability insurance, estate and investment planning.  In 1991, he joined an international non-profit organization (NPO) serving as financial manager and area finance officer for countries in Central Eastern Europe as well as in the Middle East and North Africa.  For more than six years he also worked for an international relief and development NGO, serving as CFO, COO, associate international director and member of the board.

John has a deep conviction that education is foundational in building healthy communities and societies.  For more than a decade he served in the role of chairman of the board for an international school in Vienna.  In 2003, John co-founded a US-based education resource agency which serves schools and staff in over 75 countries around the world.

John currently leads a team of men and women in a SME development NPO.  The team concurs with former Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’ Adua, that “people should know that you derive the greatest satisfaction from serving others rather than serving yourself.”  This team is committed to helping people create businesses that are not only profitable but also intentional about leaving a transformational footprint in the communities that they are impacting.
